In this Advisors Ask, we will be answering all of your questions related to how to best reach, engage, and interact with Generation X and Y. Learn how to improve your firm’s performance so that you can meet the needs of current and future generations of the financial industry!

This month’s featured advisor is Sophia Bera, the founder of Gen Y Planning LLC! Sophia is a Fee-Only CFP® who provides affordable financial planning to her generation. She works with clients in their 20s and 30s across the country in a fun and accessible way to help people create their ideal lives. Sophia and the Gen Y Planning team believe that it is important for people, especially millennials, to start building a secure financial foundation for the future.

Sophia has already established herself as a “Top 40 Under 40” financial advisor as quoted by Investment News and one of “10 Young Advisors to Watch” by Financial Advisor Magazine. Even more remarkable to note is her appearance on publications such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fortune, and Business Insider. And the list doesn’t stop there! One fun fact about her is that her original plan for herself was to become an artist, dancer and/or singer!

This past March, one of our Digital Marketers had the opportunity to speak with Sophia to learn about her best financial tips, her greatest professional achievements, and her opinion on women in the financial services industry.
