We would like to say this part was a little more planned and strategic, but as truth would have it, it occured much earlier than we planned.
After securing the domain www.advisorwebsites.com, we started to generate a bit of inbound demand from Financial Advisors in the U.S., who were in need of a website. The conversations would always be the same.
“Hi there, do you do websites for financial advisors?”
“We sure do!”
“Do you work with U.S. advisors?”
End of discussion.
That is, until one day when one of our founders decided to change his tune. We answered, “yes.”
We seemed to have chosen a good day to say yes, because the advisor on the other end was one of the top RIA’s in California. We did a good job getting them a cutting edge website, and in return, they provided us with mentorship and guidance on how best to bring our unique offering to a new market.
